The Company

After fifteen years of making award-winning, world-class programming, Greenlight Television brings a wealth of experience and talent to bear on its principal role as one of the world’s major producers of motoring and motorsport television.

However, Greenlight has worked with a diverse range of subject matter over the years, from the Isle of Man's State opening of Parliament through Premier League football to pop videos and World War Two documentary stories, and continues to expand its horizons and philosophies.

In 1996 Greenlight launched a weekly motorsport show which has been in continuous production ever since. Now the company produces four programmes every week of the year - all part of an annual output which amounts to an hour of programming every day, 365 days a year.

Greenlight's documentary archive is equally rich, with programmes covering topics as diverse as the motor industry, historical WWII stories, and major film documentary features - the most recent following the partially-sighted UK Science Minister Lord Drayson in his campaign to earn a licence to race at the 24 hours of Le Mans and finish the world's toughest motorsport event.

Furthermore, Greenlight is the production company for several major championships and events around the world and works for a number of blue-chip clients, in Formula One, the World Rally Championship and Moto Grand Prix.

We're now proud to be associated with EV Cup, the world's first ever championship for all-electric cars, which begins in 2011 after a series of promotional events in 2010.

Greenlight crews have filmed at and produced programming from every racetrack in the world that’s worthy of the name, making newsfeeds, live and delayed programmes for virtually every major broadcaster from virtually every kind of major motoring event, on two wheels and four. From a full OB to smaller productions, Greenlight Television can deliver whatever the budget.

Greenlight’s signature programmes are based on quality, speed and specialist knowledge, which includes a full understanding of the marketing imperative without sacrificing the number one priority - entertainment always comes first.
